Porn company offers work-from-home packages amid coronavirus lockdowns

A Los Angeles-based porn production company is reportedly offering customized packages to some adult film stars to help them shoot from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

Vixen Media Group on Monday announced the option for certain performers to receive $250,000 worth of production equipment, including cameras, toys and lingerie, according to Vice.

“Vixen will be looking to work with a variety of models in different formats, be it with couples, roommates, solo performers, etc.,” a spokesperson for the company told the outlet.

Like most of the economy, the adult film industry has not been spared from the global coronavirus outbreak.

Last month, the industry’s leading trade association, the Free Speech Coalition, announced that a “voluntary hold” on porn production will remain in effect to help stem the virus.

“Beyond creating unique content, the true goal of this initiative is for us to offer an opportunity of substance, both creatively and monetarily, to the performers during such a volatile time,” the spokesperson told Vice.

Performers who take part in the initiative will be paid for their content, the report said.
